Easter Tartelettes, filled with Lemon Custard and Passionfruit

I hope you are enjoying your Easter Holiday with plenty of fun, food and sweets! My dessert for Easter dinner was a Cardamom spiced tartelette filled with lemon custard and tangy passion fruit. Yellow is the ultimate Easter colour and citrus flavours feels light and fresh after a large dinner.

Tartelettes Filled with Lemon Custard and Passion fruit, 12 minis
1 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
cardamom (optional and according to taste)
6 passion fruits

Recipe for homemade custard is here. You can also use ready made custard from the supermarket but I must say, these custards are absolutely amazing:-) Add a little bit of lemon zest for a ore tangy and fresh flavour to your custard.

Pre-heat the oven to 225 degrees C.

Mix the crushed graham crackers with sugar, softened butter and cardamom (optional). Press two spoonfuls of into a greased muffin tins or liners and up to the sides just a little bit. Bake for about 7-8 minutes. Let cool completely.

Carefully remove from muffin tins or liners with a spoon.

Fill the tartelettes with your lemon custard, passion fruit and decorate with chocolate eggs or rabbits for a more playful and touch:-)

Happy Easter!
