Oatemeal and Chocolate Cookies

Oatmeal cookies may be old fashioned, but who doesn't love them?! For me it's perfect as an everyday treat since it's not to sweet. I divided my dough into two and mixed half with chocolate and let the other half stay plain. Sometimes, the simple things are the best!

Oatmeal and Chocolate Cookies, 25 pcs

150 g butter
2 dl sugar
3 dl oatmeal
2 dl flour
2 tsp baking powder
100 g chocolate (for all 25 cookies)

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C.

Mix butter and sugar until porous.

Add oatmeal, flour and baking powder and combine.

Finely chop the chocolate, add it to the dough and combine.

Shape your dough into small balls and place on a oven paper covered baking plate.

Bake the cookies for about 20 minutes or until they have obtained a little bit of colour.

Let the cookies cool down and then eat with a big glass of cold milk!

    1. Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog! If you look in my "baking conversions" page you can easily convert it to US metrics. Most often I use Swedish recipes and bake according to Swedish baking standards and therefore my recipes are not up to US metrics. I hope you still find my site interesting and continue to follow it.

      Kind regards
